Well, the first week is in the books and it was a success.
Honors Math III has gotten through lessons on parallel and perpendicular lines, 2x2 and 3x3 systems of equations, graphing inequalities, and linear modeling. Many syllabi and calculator agreements have been turned in. Next week will be when the class starts to get real. We will be having a quiz on these subjects on Tuesday when we come back and then moving on to linear programming Tuesday and Wednesday and finishing up with Arithmetic sequences on Thursday. We will be reviewing on Friday as well as the next Monday for the test on Tuesday 09/13.
Math III also got through similar lessons. We went over parallel and perpendicular lines, 2x2 systems of equations, graphing inequalities, and linear modeling. I am still in need of some syllabi and calculator agreements, but many have come in. We had our first quiz on Thursday and the grades will be up soon to see where everyone is at. This should be a good benchmark for students to see if they need to change their effort level. We will be having another quiz next Thursday 09/08, as well as the test on 09/13. We will start next week going over linear programming and arithmetic sequences. We will end on the 3x3 systems of equations.
Hopefully all weeks can be like this one and we can all have a great year!
