Hope you had a great memorial day weekend.
Today we started 9.4 lesson on venn diagrams some more and practiced conditional probability. Tomorow we will continue with 9.5 and 9.6 on Thursday. Our exam for unit 9 will be Friday. We will review for the final exam on Monday and Tuesday and then our exams will be during the normal testing block for our exam and in our classroom. Homework today was 9.3 (if not already completed) and 9.4 RSG. After a few days of a hiatus I am back. We have finally started our final unit (Unit 9) on statistics. They should have completed 9.1 when I was gone and today we went through 9.2 and 9.3.
They should be completing up to the 9.3 homework for Tuesday. Our test will be 5/31. Tomorrow is our exam.
Here is the review key today we completed our performance task. We will begin our final unit on probability and statistics on Wednesday . It is coming close to the end so students should be solidifying their grades to where they want them to end up now. Here is a worksheet on similar triangles
We are now up to the 6.8 lesson. It began our introduction into right triangle trigonometry. They learned about sine, cosine, and tangent. The homework was 6.8 RSG
We will quiz on Thursday and then performance task and test on 5/20 and 5/21 respectively. Today we completed 6.5 lesson. It was on combining angle relationships and right triangles and similar triangles to solve for unknowns in a very complex figure.
They should complete 6.5 RSG for homework. Monday is a quiz. Tuesday is the retest. Wednesday is Quiz 2. 5/20 and 5/21 are the performance task and test. Today we completed 6.4 lesson. It was on dilation and similar triangles. The homework is 6.4 RSG.
5/13 is a quiz 5/14 is the retest 5/15 is another quiz 5/20 is the performance task 5/21 is the test We have now tested and will be moving forward onto our second to last unit. We received our books and completed an introductory lesson on similar figures and dilations. The homework was 6.1 Ready, Set and 6.2 Ready.
Today was our last lesson. We went through the 5.6 proofs lesson. We practiced some proofs and went through the logic of figuring them out.
Tomorrow will be the exam and Monday the performance task. The test will not include much proof outside of fill in the blank or direct questions. Students should be completing the 5.6 S,G and the review for tomorrow as well as some practice proofs from below.
