Honors Math II
03/06 - Today we began with a warmup reviewing solving by factoring. Afterwards we discussed the placemat. I then told them about the test and we discussed that the official retest date would be Tuesday 03/14. This will be the only day to retake the exam. After talking about the exam, we began our new unit by going over graphing quadratics and all the important characteristics of them.
03/07 - Today we began with our IQ question and then moved onto asking questions about the placemat as well as the homework. Afterwards we finished a discussion on the day 1 notes and moved on to transformations. We discovered what arithmetic operations caused what types of transformations and practiced a lot of problems.
03/08 - Today we began with an IQ question and a warmup on transformations. We discussed the homework and notes and then moved on to graphing quadratic inequalities. we went over many examples, but did not have time to get to our next topic so I assigned the class finishing the notes for homework.
03/09 - We began with our IQ warmup like always and then discussed the first 2 days of homework. I went over it and they asked questions. Afterwards we went through the notes they finished for homework and then moved on to word problems and applications. We went over many examples and then I gave them time to work on their homework in class.

03/06 - Today was an exam. They took the exam and tomorrow we will start the new unit.
03/07 - Today we talked about the test. I told them the retest date was Tuesday 03/14. We then began our unit on graphing quadratics. We went over many examples and practiced them a lot.
03/08 - Today we had our IQ question and then talked about the homework. Afterwards we moved on to reviewing our topic from yesterday and went over many examples again. I gave them problems to do and walked around the room. Afterwords we introduced word problems.
03/09 - IQ warmup. We then finished up our questions about graphing quadratics and completed word problems and practiced them all class.
