Today in academic we discussed changing the test date until Friday. I told them that as long as the class on Wednesday went well, we would test on Friday instead of Thursday. We went through word problems all class. We discussed using the calculator for most of the work on these and learning to use it. We changed the window of the graph to work for the problem.

Today in Honors Math II, we began with a warmup word problem. We went through it and discussed what math terms represented each problem in context. We also discussed the flaws in some problems and how they aren't always good representations of the real world example they claim to represent. We discussed the limitation of quadratic models. We went over many examples and then went into graphing systems of quadratic inequalities. Lastly, we completed an activity on graphing quadratics on desmos.
