Unit 4 Part 2 was an interesting unit for us in Honors Math III. The average grade was not very high, but it was a more difficult unit, so that is to be expected. There was a bit of a hiccup due to some technological issues, however. Two of the classes got a different test than the other two classes. We have been working and talking to a lot of people to find the best solution to this situation and we have come to a conclusion of what we will do. I apologize the solution did not come sooner, but it took some time to figure out the best solution.
My students will be given the opportunity to take the exam that was given to the other classes. Essentially, this test is a retest, except with a maximum score of 100%. Whichever of the two tests is higher will be counted. After this, students will be given a 3rd opportunity for the traditional retest if requested. For more details, please email me or have your student talk to me about it.
This Unit 4 pt. 2 test will be given on Wednesday November 28th in husky help/lunch as well as before and after school for 3rd period. It will be given on Thursday November 28th in husky help/lunch as well as before and after school for 4th period. Please have your students arrange a time to take this with me beforehand. This is a full test so the student will be given a maximum of 80 minutes to take the test.
